Kyocera RR 24/7 Railroad Solar System Solutions

Kyocera Solar Inc. provides RR 24/7 an exclusively designed remote Solar Power System for use in the railroad industry. The solar modules incorporate UL-certified parts and are offered with a simplified mounting system for easy simple installation. The system power is scalable from 130 W to 1 kW and provided with a field adjustable battery charge controller. The module provided with a collection of cables for use is equipped with power surge protection, fusing/circuit breakers and alarm indication for low voltage. The RR 24/7 is also available with the Wind Hybrid Option.

The RR 24/7 System

The RR 24/7 system is used in applications such as in wayside signaling, midway and approach light signals. The system is also used to power equipment at repeater locations, grade crossings, hot box detectors, control points, grade crossings, AEI equipment, telecommunication power supplies, electric switch locks, switch machines, dragging equipment detectors, primary battery replacement locations, track circuits systems and controllers and switch machines.

Kyocera Solar also provides in-house training facilities to sustain the designing and engineering attempts by interested companies in selecting a suitable  RR 24/7 system package.
