BP Solar offers the BP 3230T, a 230 W photovoltaic module for use in residential and commercial applications. The system uses polycrystalline cell technology and has 60 polycrystalline silicon cells (156x156 mm) arranged in series. Under standard testing conditions the module produces a maximum power output of 230 W and voltage at maximum power is 29.1 V. The module has a rated efficiency of 13.8% and -3/+5% tolerance.
The BP 3230T offered by BP Solar has a dimension of 1667 x 1000 x 50 mm and weighs 19.4 kg. The front cover of the module is made of high transmission 3.2 mm glass that is EVA encapsulated and fitted with a white polyester back cover. The frame of the module is made of silver anodized aluminum frame with a rounded profile for comfortable use and easy handling. The frame has anti-theft bolts for increased security. The module is designed with added distance between the cell and the frame, and the top laminate is pushed to front to prevent accumulated dirt covering the cells thus increasing the production of energy. The BP 3230T module uses patented IntegraBus technology for dependable cable management, and the junction box and bypass diodes used in the module are positioned away from the cells to ensure cooler operation and to provide increased production efficiency.
The BP 3230T has received the IEC 61730-1 and IEC 61730-2 certificates for the safety of the photovoltaic module meeting the testing requirements. The module is included to the UL 1703 C fire rating standard for safety provided by Intertek ETL. The module is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factories.
