Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southern California Opens Coachella Sales Center

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southern California has opened its Coachella Sales Center, an environmentally sustainable sales center. The center, belonging to the Coca-Cola Enterprises, has received the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Located in Coachella’s Industrial Parkway, the center has 60,000 sq. ft. of building space. The environmentally sustainable features of the center are cool roofing, water conservation devices, native plant landscaping, comprehensive recycling, solar panels and stormwater retention system.

The center was designed by San Clemente, California-based Carlos Cadiz of Cadiz & Cadiz Architects. The Mayor of Coachella Eduardo Garcia, who took part in the opening ceremony of the center, commended the company for its efforts in promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability in the Coachella Valley.
