Emission monitoring instruments manufacturer Cemtrex Inc. has installed its Green DCV system in Starkville, Mississippi, for the Starkville Electric Department (SED). The system will help decrease energy usage and track indoor air quality as well as help score LEED points.
The Green DCV decreases energy usage by around 40% and enhances indoor air quality by tracking patterns of building occupancy and parameters of indoor air quality. The system utilizes sophisticated carbon dioxide monitoring and sensing techniques.
Cemtrex’s General Manager Saagar Govil commented that the installation is an important step for the company as municipalities all over the world require buildings to comply with LEED standards.
MD Engineering’s George Kato stated that the company co-worked with installation contractor Weathers Refrigeration for installing the system.
