The Thermo Scientific™ 5030iQ SHARP (Synchronized Hybrid Ambient Real-time Particulate) Monitor is an advanced instrument that measures real-time particulate levels using both beta attenuation and light scattering technologies. This device provides unparalleled ease of use.
The 5030iQ SHARP Monitor delivers precise and accurate results in real time. With high resolution, it provides mass concentrations of real-time data at one-minute intervals with excellent precision. The highly sensitive nephelometry is compared to the mass concentration data obtained from beta attenuation for calibration.
The 5030iQ Monitor enables long-term unattended operation by employing continuous, non-stepwise measurement to automatically advance the particulate-laden sample and prevent particle loss. The device monitors the sample's conditions, removing moisture effects, adjusting the control system to heat only when required, and ensuring that volatile aerosols stay intact for precise measurement.
