Thermo Scientific™ 5014iQ Beta Attenuation Monitor

The Thermo Scientific™ 5014iQ Beta Attenuation Monitor is designed to track levels of TSP, PM-2.5, PM-10, and PM-1 in the surrounding air. Its automatically advancing filter tape captures PM samples in a clean area, minimizing the need for attended operation.

To help reduce particle loss, user-defined parameters such as mass accumulation limits, flow rates, and continuous pattern advances are used to control the filter tape advancement.

The device monitors the sample conditions, removes moisture effects, adjusts the control system to heat only when necessary, and ensures that volatile aerosols are preserved for accurate measurement.
