Sentinel PRO - Detect Fugitive Emissions Using Environmental Mass Spectrometry

The Thermo Scientific Sentinel PRO Environmental Mass Spectrometer can detect and locate leaks before they become dangerous hazards, ensuring plant safety. This next-generation environmental mass spectrometer is designed to assist plants in monitoring fugitive emissions of harmful organic vapors, therefore safeguarding workers and the surrounding environment from potential hazards.

The Sentinel PRO environmental mass spectrometer is quick, precise, and dependable, capable of monitoring 100 or more sample points in 15 minutes. It detects a variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at concentrations ranging from 1 ppm to 100 ppm.

Simplified maintenance processes make it easier to own, and a robust, fault-tolerant design guarantees availability above 99.7 %. To increase detection capabilities and drastically lower maintenance and continuing running expenses, a single Sentinel PRO analyzer may replace an entire rack of less sensitive, discrete analyzers.

Increased Sensitivity, Precision, Accuracy, and Mass Range

  • Reliable, fault-tolerant design for availability of greater than 99.7 %
  • Significantly enhanced analyzer control
  • Improved connectivity to DCS systems and offline data manipulation packages
  • Completely redesigned electronics, using higher-spec components
  • Capable of monitoring 100 or more sample points within 15 minutes
  • Species-specific detection of VOCs in the 1–100 ppm range

Features

  • Complete service access from the front of the system reduces the effective footprint
  • Small footprint with no large shelter required
  • Minimal maintenance requirements
  • Thermo Scientific GasWorks software
  • Provides a large number of sample points that can be situated near probable leak points (e.g., valve stems)
  • Unique rapid multi-stream sampler (RMS) with 32 or 64 ports
  • Stable with 30- to 90-day automated calibration interval
