The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in partnership with the College of Technology and Innovation at Arizona State University (ASU), is implementing the Vocational Training and Education for Clean Energy (VOCTEC) Program to help improve the sustainability of renewable energy investments and infrastructure in the Pacific region by increasing local awareness, knowledge and capacity in clean energy.

Canadian Solar Enters 85 kW Sales Agreement with Zara Solar for Projects in Tanzania

Canadian Solar (the "Company" or "Canadian Solar"), one of the world's largest solar companies, today announced a 85 kW sales agreement with Zara Solar , a company from Tanzania specialized in solar PV importing, retail and installations. Including this new order, Canadian Solar will have supplied more than 350 kW of its solar modules to Zara Solar for off-grid PV projects in Tanzania.

Enphase Energy Commissions 902 kW Solar Project in Arbuckle, California

Enphase Energy, Inc. today announced the successful commissioning of a 902kW solar project using the Enphase Microinverter System at Strain Ranches in Arbuckle, Calif. The new solar system will power the commercial rice drying and storage of more than 50,000 tons of medium Calrose rice during its annual two-month harvest. North State Solar Energy of Forest Ranch, Calif. managed the installation of 3,760 Enphase microinverters and SolarWorld modules.
