SatCon Solstice 100 kW System Solution from SatCon

SatCon provides the SatCon Solstice 100 kW System Solution. This system offers a total control solution over the management of an entire PV system, which includes a panel, inverter and grid connectivity.

This system provides a total solution to achieve a centralized system management for optimized power production at all levels for increased productivity and reduced down time thus avoiding the interruption problems in the energy production. The string-level MPPT provided by this system allows maximum DC to AC energy conversion. This system performs maximum control at AC level to achieve responsive power generation. The features such as controllable ride through, remote system restart, and dynamic VAR generation incorporated in the system improves the system functioning. The SCADA system utilized in this model is integrated utilizing the Solstic PV site controller.

The SatCon Solstice system incorporates Edge a patented SatCon’s next-generation MPPT solution, advanced-level monitoring and control capabilities, a.NEMA4 SSB enclosure, and a NEMA 3S inverter electronic section for ease of working. The inverter utilized in this model outputs a native output voltage of 320 V, a nominal output voltage of 208–480 V, an output frequency range of 59.3–60.5 Hz, a nominal output frequency of 60 Hz, a max output current of 278 A at 208 V and 120 A at 480 V and maximum continuous output of 100 kW.

The operating temperature range of this SatCon Solstice system provided by SatCon is -20 to +50º C, its storage temperature range is -30 to +70º C and this system gets cooled by forced air. The noise level of this system is <65 dB(A). The height x width x depth measurements of the SatCon Solstice system is 67.87 inches x 85.72 inches x 23.39 inches and the cabinet of this model weighs 2605 lbs.
