Frost + Sullivan Green Excellence Awards for Malaysian Companies

At the 2010 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Green Excellence Awards banquet, 13 home-grown and Malaysian operations of MNCs were honored for their work in sustainable services, strategies and products.

Frost & Sullivan Green Excellence Awards were presented to firms that showed excellence in green technology innovation, service and product achievements. The awards recognize companies that are committed to reducing the reliance on renewable resources. Their initiatives indicate a determination to decrease the effects of climate change.

The awards were given based on market engineering tools developed by Frost & Sullivan. Performance was measured by industry analysts by comparing market participants by means of comprehensive interviews, in-depth secondary research and analysis.

Sime Darby Property Bhd., Philips Lighting Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Lucas Works Sdn. Bhd. and Kumpulan Arena are some of the recipients of the awards, winning ‘Green Builder of the Year’, ‘Lighting Company of the Year’, ‘Technology Innovation Award for R&D on Green Buildings Technologies’ and ‘Service Achievement Award for Green Refrigerants’ respectively.
