Sunmodule SW 140 Poly-R6A PV Module from SolarWorld

SolarWorld offers the Sunmodule SW 140 poly/R6A photovoltaic module. This PV module can be used for both grid connected and off grid type of applications.

The Sunmodule PV module is built strong using an anodized aluminum frame and the frame design allows easy flexible mounting options. The junction box incorporated in the SW 140 poly/R6A PV module is water proofed to protect the connection wirings securely.

The two cable glands and an easy to wire spring type clamps assembled in the junction box allows easy installation of the PV module without the need for special tools. The Sunmodule SW 140 poly/R6A PV module offered by SolarWorld utilizes polycrystalline silicon type of cells and the square sized cells measuring 156 x 156 mm are arranged in 36 cells series. The polycrystalline solar cells embedded in the module are covered by a tempered glass at the front, uses multilayer at the back PV and EVA encapsulated for total protection. The SW 140 PV module has a height x breadth x depth measurement of 1508 mm x 680 mm x 34 mm.

Under normal operating conditions the SW 140 solar module offers a maximum power of  103.3 W, an open circuit voltage of 20.3 V, a maximum power point voltage of 16.7 V, a short circuit current of 6.42 A, a maximum power point current of 6.21 A and a maximum system voltage of 1000 VDC. The power tolerance of this module is +/- 5 %.
