WEPOWER Installs Wind Turbine near San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit

Premier Holding’s subsidiary, WEPOWER Ecolutions, an integrator of clean-energy solutions and energy service provider, has installed its Falcon 12 kW Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWTs) at 3rd Street Hydroponics, a retail store, situated close to San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) at Oakland, CA.

A rapid transit system, BART, serves the San Francisco Bay Area. This subway system and heavy-rail public transit links San Francisco with northern San Mateo County suburbs and East Bay cities. About 44 stations located in four counties connect San Francisco with other areas and covers 167 km of distance through five lines. Nearly 379,300 passengers commute during weekdays and 309,420 passengers during weekends. In the US, BART has become the fifth-busiest heavy rail rapid transit system. Along with the Silicon Valley BART extension, the system is extended to San Jose as well.

According to the CEO of WEPOWER Ecolutions, Kevin Donovan, every business turns out to be energy efficient and greener through the alternative energy solutions provided by the company. Starting from conventional to alternative businesses, like, Sean Taylor's 3rd Street Hydroponics retail shop, located at 800 Madison St, close to the Oakland BART station, consumers find out the way to generate electricity using wind power. Further, he added that annually over 12 million commuters can witness the operation of the wind turbines.

WEPOWER offers a wide range of green solutions under WEPOWER "ecolutions,” including green roofs, solar power systems, battery storage power plants, LED lighting, energy and power control management systems, wind turbines and much more.
