Sungevity and Sierra Club Collaboration Helps Families Implement New Residential Solar

The Sierra Club has announced the collaboration with Sungevity in order to support families to easily adopt solar energy.

Customers can reduce their electricity bills, minimize pollution and help the overall mission of the Sierra Club to explore and protect the globe, through this new association. According to this collaboration, each time someone adopts a solar system in their home, that person will be awarded a cash gift card and Sungevity will contribute that amount to the Sierra club.

Customers find it difficult to prioritize the attempts in supporting non-profits, minimizing pollution and saving money. Addition of residential solar panels in their homes, by the Sierra Club supporters, leads to the accomplishment of all the three parameters.

Electricity bills of consumers can be reduced by going solar. For instance, Sungevity identified that customers can minimize the electricity bills for up to 15% in a day. According to the solar leasing plan, the electricity costs can be reduced by making the homeowners to rent their rooftop with no upfront costs, installation, financing, and maintenance. People can implement rooftop solar to protect the planet, along with pollution reduction.

The Sierra Club’s Executive Director, Michael Brune stated that the club is delighted to partner with Sungevity to help the families for saving money and to go solar. Based on this collaboration, the club can help its 1.4 M members to address about the climate change, through the addition of solar panels over their homes. According to the recent survey, 76% of Americans have considered that the country can adopt a sustainable energy in the future by 2050, with renewable energy and show an extensive support for the residential solar panels throughout the nation, according to Brune.
