LG Solar to Demonstrate Innovative Mono X NeoN PV Module at Solar Energy UK

LG Solar will give the first UK demonstrations of its award winning Mono X™ NeoN at Solar Energy UK in Birmingham this week. The innovative photovoltaic module, which has over 18 per cent efficiency and capacity of up to 300 watts per module, will make a huge impact in the European market.

Following victory at this year’s Intersolar awards in Munich, LG Solar is exhibiting its robust, lightweight panel for the British market. The bi-facial cell captures the light reflected from the back sheet onto the cell back side, resulting in increased light yield and greater energy and financial return for the solar power user.

UK Sales Manager Sven Armbrecht commenting on the Mono X™ Neon: “We are excited to present our new and award-winning Mono X™ NeoN module at Solar Energy UK. The module is proving to be an international success and the recent award win highlights that the company’s product strategy is on the right track. This module will be very successful with both the UK residential and SMB markets, as it offers a genuine alternative to rising energy costs.”

Installers continue to appreciate the fact that the modules are so lightweight, weighing only 16.8 kilograms and simple to connect through new cable management systems. LG Solar provides a 10-year product guarantee and a 25-year linear performance guarantee for all of its solar modules.

LG’s module Mono X™ NeoN won the ‘Outstanding Performance’ 2013 Intersolar Award at this year’s ceremony, for its innovation in combining design and performance. LG Solar can be found on the BayWa r.e. (D10) and Alternergy (D15) stands. Sven will also be giving a demonstration of the new Mono X™ NeoN module everyday in the Practical PV Feature Area at 11.45am BST.
