New products that will be launched at Intersolar 2014 include:

New solutions for PV power plants and commercial installations

PV Box ST and PV Box RT: configurable solutions developed to proven engineering and industrial standards. The new PV Box units are customisable to local climatic conditions and regulatory standards to help lower BOS costs, provide greater reliability, and improve construction lead times.

Conext Control monitoring & control system: a robust, validated SCADA-based solution that integrates process, supervision, and monitoring functions. It produces real-time production data and trend analysis for harvest optimisation. Along with remote diagnostics, it offers reduced intervention costs and unique plant-level controllers, helping to meet the most stringent grid code requirements.

Global Services Offer– Through a global network of Customer Care Centres, regional project and engineering centres, and spare part hubs, Schneider Electric provides different service levels to address solar user needs, ranging from basic product warranty to full availability commitment of the overall PV installation.

Conext Core XC ESS: a new line of central inverters with peak efficiencies of 98.9%, designed for advanced battery-based energy storage applications. The series has the flexibility for the inverter to be configured with voltage and power outputs up to 680 kVA. The series will be available in IEC- and UL-compliant versions.

Conext CL: a new line of three-phase string inverters ideal for commercial buildings, carports, and decentralised PV power plants. The Conext CL series is designed for high efficiency (98.4%), maximum flexibility, and ease of installation and service.

New solutions for hybrid segments, including off-grid solar and backup power

Conext XW+: the next generation of the highly successful Conext XW inverter/charger. Featuring higher power ratings, Conext XW+ also has better battery management, including support for lithium-ion technology. Its superior BOS integration further simplifies installation. It can be used for both DC- and AC-coupled systems and is suitable for large hybrid applications up to 102kW.

Conext Insight: a remote monitoring and asset management system for decentralised PV and battery-based installations. It helps installers and operators optimise plant performance, and plant owners maximise system ROI. Conext Insight creates a single point of access to monitor several installations worldwide, via the internet (computer and tablets), providing up-to-date information about system performance, anywhere, anytime.
