Norbord Inc. (TSX: NBD) today announced the launch of its new Pinnacle Premium sub-flooring. Manufactured using fibre harvested from responsibly managed forests, Pinnacle is strong, durable and comes with a 100-day, no-sand guarantee. Backed by a 50-year limited warranty, Pinnacle provides ongoing value to the builder and homeowner. In addition, Pinnacle can help builders achieve the rating levels in green building programs such as the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC(R)) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(R) (LEED(R)) and the ANSI(R) National Green Building Standard(R) (NGBS(R)). Pinnacle contains no added urea formaldehyde resins and will be manufactured in numerous plant locations to serve the market with regionally available product.

"Our Pinnacle Premium sub-flooring product represents real value for today's builders," said Mike Dawson, Norbord's Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Logistics. "Pinnacle is engineered to offer builders a sub-flooring product that supports their green building initiatives without compromising on performance, strength, or cost. It is another great example of Norbord's commitment to providing builders with solutions to help them grow their businesses."
