Ameresco Solar provides a range of solar inverters including the Outback FX2012T model that delivers sinewave output. The sealed inverter is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The solar inverter features a chassis made of die-cast aluminum that protects the internal components. The aluminum chassis has powder coating to avoid corrosion.
The Outback FX2012T inverter with O-ring seals and gaskets on all the openings and seams prevents small particles and water. The solar inverter, offered by Ameresco Solar, is equipped with external and internal cooling fins to enable passive heat transfer. The passive heat transfer helps the inverter to provide a maximum peak operating efficiency of 90 percent. For further protection against corrosion, the circuit boards of the Outback FX2012T solar inverter are equipped with protective conformal coating. The inverter also features a Turbo cooling system that helps in enhancing the performance during hot seasons.
The nominal DC input voltage of the Outback FX2012T inverter is 12 volt DC. The AC voltage and frequency of the inverter is 120 volt AC and 60Hz, respectively. At a temperature of 25 degree Celsius, the continuous power rating of the inverter is 2000VA and continuous AC RMS output is 17.0 amperes AC. This solar inverter allows AC input voltage in the range from 80 to 150 volt AC and AC input frequency in the range from 54 to 66Hz. The dimensions of the solar inverter are 33 x 21 x 41cm, while the weight is 62.6 pounds.
