The mounting plate is again isolated from the base of the cabinet with rubber grommets compressor isolation. This enables the heat pump to operate without noise. The TMW Water to Water geothermal heat pump needs smaller footprint for installation when compared to a standard boiler. The heat pump does not include a combustion chamber that needs cleaning and maintenance. The geoexchange system comprises few moving parts to give reliable operation.

The TMW Water to Water geothermal heat pump includes refrigerant lines, water lines, and compressor section that are completely insulated. The steel cabinet of the heat pump has powder coating to offer durability. With the geothermal heat pump, there is no chance of carbon monoxide poisoning. The heat pump can also be used to supply chilled water to be distributed to small fan coil units, to offer zoned forced-air cooling.
