Heliodyne Solar Hot Water Systems with Backup Heating Systems

Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind designs, supplies and installs solar thermal systems and grid-tied solar electric systems. The company has installed 5 Heliodyne thermal collectors for space heating and hot water near Florissant. Different brands of solar thermal systems are distributed by Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind, namely, Heliodyne, Beijing Sunda and Trendsetter. The Heliodyne solar hot water system is designed to heat water for homes or pools using solar energy. It is suitable for residential and commercial applications.

Heliodyne solar hot water systems

The Heliodyne solar hot water system is made of finer materials to provide higher heat-transfer rates, durability and increased efficiency. It saves utility bills and adds value for home. This solar hot water system lowers gas or electricity heating up to 20 percent, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. It is designed to function in any climatic condition, and uses solar energy to heat solar collector to produce hot water.

The Heliodyne solar hot water system has solar collectors with solar fluid. This solar fluid is heated up and the heat is transferred to the hot water tank. The controller activates the pump automatically to draw heat from the solar collector. The heated solar fluid is circulated through a heat exchanger from the collector to the storage tank to heat the water. After heating, the solar fluid is pumped back to the solar collector to repeat the process. There is a backup heating system to provide hot water when there is no sufficient sunlight.
