Waste to Energy Solutions from Novo Energy

Novo Energy develops renewable waste-to-energy projects.  Waste-to-energy is a method that helps to manage trash and at the same time generate clean energy. The waste-to-energy technology helps to reduce the volume of waste. The waste-to-energy facilities use renewable solid waste to generate electricity and steam, and they adhere to EPA emission standards. EPA emission standards ensure that the energy generated from waste is the clean source of power in the world.

The waste-to-energy projects recover maximum energy content from the solid waste. This technology eliminates harmful pollutants that can create toxins in the air. The waste-to-energy project reduces 95% of the material to be land filled, and this reduces the need for land to dispose solid waste.  This also helps to eliminate the contamination of ground water from land fills.

Waste-to-Energy facilities do not smell.  No odor can be detected in and around the facility. With the help of the AIREAL combustion system and the high temperature at the facility, the smell and odour are eliminated.  In a waste-to-energy facility, a constant negative air pressure exists constantly. This pressure draws air from the pit where the waste is dumped and sends it to the furnace where combustion of waste takes place.
