The battery unit incorporated in the wind data instrument can be used for a maximum period of 400 hours before replacing it.

The Kestrel 1000 wind speed meter has the capability to withstand harsh environmental conditions and does not require any kind of set up. This wind data instrument needs to be hold at the appropriate position in order to measure the speed of the wind. The Kestrel 1000 wind speed meter provides the wind speed data in various measurement unit options that include meters per second, kilometers per hour, knots, feet per minute, miles per hour and Beaufort. These measurement unit options can be changed as and when required.
The wind speed meter from AltE Store is available at cost effective rates and includes an impeller and a protective housing. It has a maximum accuracy of +/-3 percent and has the capability to measure even at a wind speed of 0.3 meters per second.
