ClimateMaster manufactures different models of geothermal heating and cooling products for commercial and residential applications. The Tranquility 20 (TS) Series available from the company is utilized as a single-stage water-source heat pump. It combines EarthPure HFC-410A refrigerant with the PSC multi-speed or ECM variables speed fan motor and the Copeland Scroll compressor for efficient performance. The green technology design has earned additional LEED points for the product.
The Tranquility 20 (TS) Single-Stage Series water-source heat pump is available in 1-1/2 ton to 6 ton sizes. The geothermal heating and cooling systems are made of galvanized steel with powder coated paint. This heat pump from ClimateMaster incorporates compressor springs and double isolation compressor mounting for smooth operation. It is equipped with a standard discharge muffler and standard microprocessor controls along with DXM and DDC controls as options.
The Tranquility 20 (TS) Single-Stage Series has an extended range or standard range of operation. It includes a bi-directional and a balanced port expansion valve refrigerant metering device. The horizontal units have field convertible discharge air arrangement. This water-source heat pump contains a sealed refrigerant circuit including a scroll or rotary compressor meant for operating heat pump, rifled copper tube refrigerant and coaxial refrigerant for water heat exchanger, reversing valve, safety controls, low and high pressure switches, air coil low temperature sensor and a water coil low temperature sensor.
