HCV Series Vertical Water Source Geothermal Heat Pumps from Heat Controller

Heat Controller manufactures a range of geothermal heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial applications. Its geothermal products are available in two brands, namely Century and Comfort-Aire. The Century geothermal products are available in the following models for commercial applications: HCV vertical heat pumps, HLH/HLV series and HCH horizontal models. The HCV series vertical water source heat pump is meant for boiler-tower applications. Its refrigerant circuits utilize the compressors and cap tube metering devices for efficient performance.

HCV Series Vertical Water Source Heat Pumps

The HCV series vertical water source heat pump meets the efficiencies of ASHRAE 90.1 with 13.0 EER and 4.2 to 4.6 COP. The torsion-flex mounting system and double isolation compressor mounting system help the blower motors to operate smoothly without noise. This water source heat pump from Heat Controller incorporates CXM control board along with sentinel to monitor the system and to alert when problems occur. It is made of G90 galvanized steel with epoxy powder coating. There is an insulated drain pan with condensate overflow protection.

There are eight safety features included with the HCV series vertical water source heat pump. They are: low voltage, high voltage, anti-short cycle, low refrigerant pressure, high refrigerant pressure, condensate overflow, air coil freeze and water coil freeze. This heat pump offered by Heat Controller is available in different sizes from 1/2 to 5 tons. The HCV036B1C30CRT model has a heating capacity of 45,500 BTUH and a cooling capacity of 35,000 BTUH. It has 12.0 EER and 4.2 COP.
