Innovative Geothermal Systems offers Sunteq geothermal heat pump system manufactured by Enviroteq. This compressor unit is designed to interface with air handlers. The Sunteq geothermal heat pump incorporates three phases of heating and cooling. By using two different sized compressors, the company can provide a capacity ranging from 2 to 5 tons from a single unit. When the loads are light, the 2-ton compressor can operate with coils designed for 10 tons and offer the highest humidity control. When the load increases, the heat pump shifts to the 3-ton compressor and the 2- ton compressor stops to operate.

The Sunteq geothermal heat pump system uses two air handlers with the dual compressor GEO unit to operate in two zones. The panels placed between air handlers can be removed to allow the handlers to operate. This heat pump system offered by Innovative Geothermal Systems has developed a method to stop backflow, which prevents return air from short-circuiting the coils. The compressors are protected with components and features included in the one way metering circuit. This one way high pressure liquid circuit offers a suitable way for metering refrigerant in heating and cooling modes.
