SPC-2-AC Solar Pump Centre Systems from Purist Energy

Purist Energy supplies single and dual pump systems for solar hot water appliances. The SPC-2-AC solar pump centre is a dual pump model that is powered by Alternating Current (AC). It is designed for commercial solar thermal systems. It incorporates a controller, pressure relief valve, heat exchanger, two pumps, two fill/drain valves/check valves, two pressure/temp gauges and two flowmeters. This system can be integrated with a PC or the Internet.

The SPC-2-AC solar pump centre is a closed loop system suitable for commercial and residential applications. It is easy to install and is available in dimensions of 18in x 10in x 40in. It can be mounted on the floor or wall for easy access and can be combined with traditional hot water tanks. The solar loop pressure of this solar pump system, available from Purist Energy, ranges from 15 to 40psi. The SS brazed plate heat exchanger has a dimension of 5in x 12in. The potable circulator is made of bronze, while the solar loop circulator is made of cast iron. This pump centre has 1in copper fittings, flow indicators and pressure indicators.

The recommended solar loop fluid for the SPC-2-AC solar pump centre is non-toxic propylene glycol. There is an integrated multifunction DT controller and two auxiliary outputs and PC interface for controlling the temperature. The solar pump centre controller is designed with a collector, storage temperature displays, blue LED display, high-temperature shutdown feature, onboard warnings and temperature display.
