The EZ towers come along with power wire and can be installed within two hours. The 27ft and 45ft guyed tower kits require no winching and concrete work.
The Air 45ft guyed tower kit manufactured by Southwest Windpower can be installed in a few hours without requiring concrete and winching. It includes gin pole hardware and other accessories except anchors and pipe. This wind tower kit includes a base connector, pre-cut upper wire set in 280ft, two pre-cut lower wire set in 160ft, three 3/8 inches x 1-1/2 inches bolt, eight 3/8 inches locknut, three base staples, 16 cable thimbles and a cable clamp.
The Air 45ft guyed tower kit is also equipped with a setup kit designed for raising the tower. This setup kit includes a gin pole cap, 3/8 inches locknut, 3/8 inches x 1-1/2 inches bolt, 100ft rope, 8ft cable and three snap links. The pipe pieces used with this wind tower are available in the following lengths: 24ft and 21ft for tower, 21ft for gin pole and 6ft for tower base. This tower kits from Real Goods require 1-7/8 inches steel tubing. The Air 45ft guyed tower having 0.065 inches can withstand the maximum wind speed of 84mph, and the 0.090 inches and 0.145 inches can withstand the wind speed of 96mph and 120mph, respectively.
