The patented ‘tube and web’ design helps the solar pool heating collector in relieving the stress that is caused by contraction and expansion. This polypropylene collector, offered by Solar Living, uses the ‘Sun Gard’ UV stabilization formula. The mounting hardware of the SI 1500 solar pool heating collector is made of stainless steel that is rust free. This mounting hardware has less mounting points to enable easy installation. This stainless steel mounting hardware provides strong installation suitable for high wind areas.
The absorber plate of the collector is made of polypropylene copolymer. This absorber features UV screen with carbon black and synergistic antioxidants. All the brackets and clamps of the SI 1500 solar pool heating collector are made of 302 type stainless steel. The hold down straps of this solar pool heating collector is made with 302 stainless steel and a polypropylene coating. The SI 1500 solar pool heating collector also features reinforced EPDM connecting hoses.
