Skyline 1 Open Loop Solar Hot Water Systems from SolarRoofs.com

SolarRoofs.com manufactures the Skyline series of solar hot water systems that include the Skyline 1 open loop system used in tropical climates. This solar water heating system is easy to install and includes a 12 volt pump that is powered by a solar panel. The pump circulates potable water through the solar collectors to heat the water. After heating, the water is returned to the storage tank, which can either be the existing electric/gas tank, or the tank that is exclusively added for solar heating purposes.

Skyline 1 Open Loop Solar Hot Water Systems

The Skyline 1 open loop solar hot water system is available in three versions of silver, gold and platinum. The gold version offers a choice of Skyline 10-01 or 20-01 solar collectors, with options of side by side or stacked layout for collectors. These solar collectors feature full copper absorbers. The hot water system, offered by SolarRoofs.com, also features a collector rail mount system that is pre-drilled and assembled. This solar thermal system includes PV solar electric panel with mounting kit, and 12-volt Laing D5 electronic circulator.

The Skyline 1 open loop gold solar water heating system consists of a no-solder solar loop along with the required fittings. Other components of this solar water heating system include two ball valves, two hose bibs, male adjustable pressure relief valve, two roof boots that are color coded, copper tubing, floating ball check valve that has zero resistance, copper reducing adaptors, and twin digital thermometer box that has an on/off switch.
