Solar Power Industries provides the SPI-156-160 W solar module. This solar module accommodates a series of 48, 156 mm x 156 mm polycrystalline silicon solar cells. This module is designed for on-grid usage and can be connected to a remotely kept battery for charging.
The SPI-156-160 W module has a power tolerance of ±5% thus ensuring the desired power level all the time. The aluminum anodized frame and the tempered laminated glass utilized in the manufacture of the frame increases the durability of the module and its usage life. The junction box provided in this module has plug and play type of leads for ease of installation.

The electrical specifications of this module includes a typical power of 160 W, a maximum power of 147 W, voltage at typical power 23.6 V, current at typical power 6.57 A, an open circuit voltage of 28.94 V and a short circuit current of 7.35 A.
The SPI-156-160 W module underwent qualification test parameters such as temperature cycling -40 to +90, 200 cycles, static load front and back 2,400 Pa, hailstone impact 25 mm steel ball at 23 m/s, and humidity freeze, damp heat 85%RH, 1000 h. This solar module meets the certification specifications of UL1703 and IEC61215.
