Following this announcement, JinkoSolar, a manufacturer and distributor of vertically integrated solar power products, stated that it had supplied all the required solar modules for the solar project in Dunhuang, Gansu Province.

GE Energy has inked a supply agreement with Invenergy for 23 MW advanced solar equipment. This equipment will be installed at Invenergy’s Grand Ridge solar project, which is being built in Illinois. Grand Ridge Solar will be the Midwest’s largest solar plant after its completion in mid-2012.

The Washington and Lee University (W&L) has installed the largest solar-energy system in Virginia. The installation consists of solar PV panels having a total capacity of 444 kW in two locations comprising 1,016 PV panels on the roof-top of Lewis Hall, and 540 PV panels over the University's parking deck.
