Company's Commitment to the Clean Technology Industry

Beacon Power Corporation, announced today that it has received a commitment for up to $5 million in loans that will help fund expansion of its production facility and create new clean technology jobs. Through a collaborative agreement, MassDevelopment's Emerging Technology Fund and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) have each agreed to provide Beacon with $2.5 million.

LDK Solar to Deliver Approximately 70 MW of Multicrystalline Solar Wafers to JSPV

LDK Solar Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers, today announced that it has signed a five-year contract to supply multicrystalline solar wafers to China-based Jiangxi Solar PV Corporation (JSPV). Under the terms of the agreement, LDK Solar will deliver approximately 70 MW of multicrystalline solar wafers to JSPV, a new venture created by US-based Solar PV Corporation, over a five-year period commencing in 2009 through 2013. JSPV will make an advanced payment representing a portion of the contract value to LDK Solar.

Realizing there were no industry-wide green marketing standards or guidelines, Hacker Group formed the GMC to provide tools to organizations interested in incorporating green marketing into their businesses practices. Providing Meaningful Work Experience and Educational Opportunities for Dallas Students

The ExxonMobil Green Team today celebrated the start of its 27th year in Dallas with a day of environmental activities at ExxonMobil's corporate headquarters. Forty Green Team students participated in hands-on learning stations set up by the Dallas Zoo, environmental service projects benefiting partner nonprofit agencies, and a nature walk through ExxonMobil's grounds to learn about native plants and animals.

Ongoing Efforts to Make New Yorkers More Energy Efficient

Mayan Metzler and Yoel Piotraut, owners of MyHome LLC, have introduced two new products today as part of their ongoing efforts to make New Yorkers more energy efficient. The products, called CoolWall and SuperCote by TEX.COTE, are textured exterior paints that reduce cooling costs by up to 21.9%. The product rollout is another step in MyHome's ongoing effort to help New Yorkers green their homes with simple--and affordable--green solutions.
