Strata Solar Installs Nine Utility-Scale Solar Projects across NC Using $100MM Financing Provided by Wells Fargo

Strata Solar, a leading utility-scale solar provider, announced today it has installed nine utility-scale solar projects across North Carolina using more than $100mm of tax-equity financing provided by a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company. North Carolina utility Progress Energy Carolinas will purchase the power.

First Wind Completes Financing for 148 MW Wind Project in Aroostook County, Maine

First Wind, an independent U.S.-based renewable energy company, today announced that it has closed financing for its 148 megawatt (MW) wind project in Aroostook County, Maine. With financing in place, First Wind will continue on schedule with construction with commercial operations expected in the fourth quarter of 2015.

FuelCell Energy Wins Utility-Scale Award for Two 2.8 MW Fuel Cell Power Plants from United Illuminating

FuelCell Energy, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture, operation and service of ultra-clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell power plants, announced another utility-scale award for two 2.8 megawatt DFC3000® fuel cell power plants by United Illuminating (UI), part of UIL Holdings Corporation.
