Evance Iskra R9000 Wind Turbine from ECI Wind and Solar

ECI Wind and Solar offers the Evance Iskra R9000 wind turbine. This wind turbine incorporates a patented Reactive Pitch technology to regularly optimize the aerofoil settings to generate power even at a low speed of 2.5 m/s.

The patented axial flux generators incorporated in the wind turbine enables achieving of 96% efficiency continuously. The upwind design with tail vane allows precise yaw control. This wind turbine does not incorporate a separate gear box and the patented ElectroBrake with no moving parts provides required control over the turbine operations.

Evance Iskra R9000 Wind Turbine

The Evance Iskra R9000 wind turbine provided by ECI Wind and Solar incorporates a three bladed upwind type of rotor, where blades are made of glass fiber reinforced composite material with UV and anti-corrosive coating. The diameter of the rotor is 5.4 m and the rotor offers a minimum of 200 rpm and a maximum of 230 rpm. This wind turbine is available in free-standing or guyed type of towers in 9, 12 and 15 m tower heights. The cut in wind speed of this turbine is 2.5 m/s and does not have cut-out wind speed and the maximum survival wind speed is 60 m/s.

All the parts utilized in the Evance Iskra R9000 wind turbine are made of stainless steel or coated to meet the required standards. This wind turbine is designed to meet the IEC61400-2, the international standards.
