S-343 Wind Turbine from Endurance Wind Power

Endurance Wind Power offers the Endurance S-343 - 5 KW wind turbine. This small wind turbine provides an annual yield of 10,000–25,000 kWh and meant for use at small farms, homes and similar applications.

Endurance S-343 - 5 KW Wind Turbine

This upwind type of turbine incorporates three blades made of fiber glass epoxy material and each blade measures 3.08 m. The rotor installed in the Endurance S-343 wind turbine has a diameter of 6.37 m and offers a swept area of 31.9 m².

The Endurance wind turbine is meant for use in direct grid connected applications. The rated rotor speed of this turbine is 166 rpm. The cut-in wind speed of this turbine is 4.1 m/s, its cut-out wind speed is 24 m/s, and its survival wind speed is 52 m/s. The over all weight of the wind turbine is 300 kg. For regulating the power this wind turbine deploys stall control. The S-343 wind turbine incorporates an induction generator with a rated configuration of 1 Ö, 120/240 VAC split-phase at 60 Hz. This wind turbine model has a main brake system to control the movement of the rotor shaft and a secondary back-up brake system to perform the same function. The automatic brake system gets initiated during high wind speed, over speed of the turbine, grid failure and on any other faulty conditions.

The 5 kW wind turbine can be installed over Guyed, 31.1 m or 36.6 m poles or freestanding monopole measuring 27.5 m. This model incorporates field programmable embedded controller for controlling the functions and utilizes wired or wireless networked software for remote observation and control.
