Two divisions of the Freudenberg Group namely Kluber Lubrication North America L.P. and Simrit have jointly introduced the Lube&Seal package that offers the windpower sector with the ideal combination of seals and lubricants.
This solution is ideal for wind turbines that are exposed to harsh environmental conditions. Kluber Lubrication North America and Simrit will launch their services and products during May 23 – 26, 2010 at WINDPOWER 2010 in Dallas, Texas.
The Lube&Seal package couples the knowledge of Kluber Lubrication North America in lubricants with the expertise of Simrit in sealing technology. This partnership integrates lubricants and sealing lip systems into a dependable tribological system meant for wind turbine gears.
This novel solution helps reduce wind turbine breakdowns arising from leaks, while at the same time reduces damage and prevents wear that can arise from thermal instability and other external factors such as salty air, mineral oils and ozone.
A Lube&Seal solution goes through stringent certification and testing procedures for ensuring low friction, corrosion protection, temperature resistance, chemical compatibility, extended service life and contamination reduction.
