Power-one offers the Aurora PVI-CENTRAL-100-US-480 grid-tie model photovoltaic inverters. This inverter model is offered in master/slave configuration to reduce module error losses and delivers up to 95.8% energy.
The switching frequency of this inverter module is 18 kHz which is above the normal audible range and works with least noise. The MPPT incorporated in this module has an operating range of 330–600 VDC and offers full capacity power during high temperatures. This module incorporates IP20 rated envelopment structure and does not require extra cooling systems.

The PVI-CENTRAL-100-US-480 inverter utilizes the incorporated reverse polarity protection to reduce the damages caused by wrong wiring during installation. The LCD display mounted on the front panel offers real-time information on all vital operating parameters. The Aurora PVI-CENTRAL-100-US-480 grid-tie model PV inverter provided by the Power-one has an external dimension of 65-15/16 inches x 49-3/16 inches x 33-7/16 inches and weighs 2203 lbs. This inverter utilizes three phase 480 VAC connectivity to the grid. The nominal AC power of this inverter is 100 kW, and it is designed to offer a nominal AC voltage of 480 V, a maximum AC voltage range of 423–528 V, a nominal AC frequency of 60 Hz, a maximum AC line current of 121 A, a maximum efficiency of 95.8% and a CEC efficiency of 95%.
The PVI-CENTRAL-100-US-480 incorporates RS-485 interface for communication, easily replaceable fuses and OVR for AC and DC power protection. This model also incorporates an AC magnetic breaker and anti-islanding protection. This inverter meets the standard requirements set for grid-connected inverters.
