Next Generation Energy offers the NGE-126-TA Hot Air Panel. This hot air panel collects solar energy by utilizing an absorber and a PV module and the collected energy is used for running a variable speed fan to transfer the energy in to a home or commercial place. This unit can draw air from inside, heat it and circulate it again or draw air from outside and compose the air to the required heat level before circulation.
The hot air panel has a length x width x thickness of 77.188 in. x 47.188 in. x 3.317 in. and can be used to heat an area of approximately 300–500 sq.ft or can be used as make-up air for drying food or other products.
The collector frame of this module is made of extruded aluminum frame and the side strip is given bronze power coat finish. The back sheet of this module is made of stucco embossed aluminum sheet and pop riveted to aluminum frame. The corner brackets utilized in this module are made of aluminum angles with aircraft grade pin grip rivets for increased protection and firmness. The NGE-126-TA hot air panel offered by Next Generation Energy is insulated utilizing polyisocyanurate foam board insulation and foil faced glass fiber reinforced rigid board with thermo covering. The insulation utilized in the panel measures 1-1/4 in. at the bottom and ¾ in. in the side walls.
The glazing glass utilized in this module is made of 3.2 mm clear tempered specialty glass and incorporates an absorber and a 12V/20W photovoltaic module. The variable speed fan motor utilized in the module utilizes 12 V 20 W power and optionally can be powered by AC. To prevent entry of water and other dust particles this module incorporates EPDM U channel gasket.
