LG Electronics has recently introduced an environment friendly hybrid air-conditioner meant for residential use. This air-conditioner considered to be first of its kind in Korea employs solar energy as its main power source.
The new F-Q232LASS 28,000 BTU floor standing model air-conditioner measures 76 sq.m in size and produces around 70 W/h by blending the power generated by a solar module incorporated at the top of the out door unit.

The new F-Q232LASS is eco friendly and provides cost savings on electricity bills. The new air-conditioner is set to reduce the release of roughly 212 kg of CO2 every year which is equivalent to planting and growing of 780 pine trees.
