Atlantic Wind + Solar Awaits Construction of 3 MW Roof Top Solar Parks

Atlantic Wind & Solar Inc (AWSL), a renewable energy products company, has unveiled its future plans to construct, possess and operate five more rooftop solar energy parks in the state of Ontario. With the inclusion of the five new solar parks its total commercial and industrial rooftop projects in the state will reach a total of 19.

The construction of all the solar parks have reached the final plan stage and is expected to commence construction on finalization of power purchase agreement with the Ontario power authority. The company is planning to produce a total output of 3 MW from the 19 projects and intends to finalize the phase of construction after signing a power purchase agreement with Ontario Power Authority. The power output from the company will provide lighting for approximately 2800 residences. The company is planning to sell the generated power to the grid directly under the current terms and conditions of feed-in-tariff plan of the Ontario government.

Mr. Pierre Cousin, CEO of Atlantic Wind & Solar, said that his company is engaged in a continuous process of updating the pipeline projects by utilizing the qualifying process to reach the ultimate pre-construction stage and planning to announce the completion dates for the pending projects. He added that the company has several projects under the pipeline and ultimately looking forward to consolidate their position and hold a sizable share in renewable energy products globally.
