Wind to Power Systems (W2PS) has unveiled its solar inverter for North America. W2PS is a leader in providing systems that go on to integrate renewable energy into the grid and has launched the 500 kW Solar2PS solar inverter.
The 1,000 voltage inverter is enabled with features such as Reactive Power Control, Low Voltage Ride Through, as well as 98.4% maximum efficiency level.
This Solar2PS system is completely compatible with the SCADA data acquisition systems along with third party supervisory controls. W2PS has been derived from wind energy products that are extremely reliable while the company’s products are based on the robust high voltage design structures.
Two Solar2PS inverters, control systems, switchgear and a 1 MW transformer could be integrated into the concrete or steel utility grade shelter. This 1 MW solar energy conversion system has been termed as e Solar Cube while including options such as advanced communications, air conditioning and a weather station too.
