GE has unveiled its 1 MW solar inverter towards its worldwide projects. This new product goes on to enhance the grid reliability which will be a key factor in the continuous growth of the solar industry. GE introduced its product at the Solar Power International event.
This new inverter, which happens to be the largest in the portfolio of GE, has been made available in both the 50-hertz as well as 60-hertz versions, thus making it suitable in applications worldwide. This new solar inverter has been based upon GE’s technology of proven power conversion which GE makes use of, for its global wind turbine fleet.
Solar inverters play a crucial role in solar power systems that convert the power that is generated by the solar panels into usable electricity. GE is a diversified media, finance and infrastructure company that takes on the toughest challenges in the world.
