MKS Instruments , a company offering technologies for sophisticated manufacturing procedures and increased output, declared that it has signed an accord with a key solar cell manufacturing company from China to supply the latest RF Power supplies and corresponding networks and a host of vacuum linked products.
The equipment supplied will be utilized in two thin film PV cells fabrication factories presently built in China. The shipment of the equipment will commence in early 2011.
According to Jerry Colella, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of MKS Instrument, the newly incorporated sophisticated power supply know-how and its increased and reliable power conversion capability played a key role in the choice of his company’s products. He added that his company has established a strong base in China equipped with a technically qualified and trained team of professionals and this was viewed by the client as a strong plus point in selecting MKS to sustain the potential future requirements of the client company.
