Suniva Completes Solar Power Installation for USFloors

Suniva, Atlanta- based monocrystalline silicon solar cells and solar modules manufacturing company, declared that it has powered USFloors with a 365 kW rooftop solar installation. The facility put into service by United Renewable Energy comprise three solar modules and is anticipated to generate over 560,000 kWh of renewable solar energy every year.

For the purpose of bringing the required finance for the project USFloors availed the financial assistance from the federal and state governments in the form of incentives and credits. The company also received funding from Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA) Clean Energy Property Grant. The solar power produced from the facility is enough to provide electricity to 54 normal homes in USA and will offset over 11.400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Bryan Ashley, Suniva’s chief marketing officer appreciated the efforts and dedication of USFloors in the installation of renewable solar power.

Ashley also declared the completion of 70 kW installation at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and said that the power produced from the installation will energize the AC Unit that is used at the visitor’s centers which receives more than 1.4 million visitors every year. The solar installation completed by AEG Power Solutions can be seen by the visitors to the center and will help them to understand the use of sustainable solar energy.
