PetersenDean to Install Cool Roofs and Solar PV Systems for Solar Project in Puerto Rico

PetersenDean, a private roofing and solar power firm in the US, has commenced work on the largest combined SmarterRoof and solar power project in the globe.

The project is situated in Puerto Rico at the US Coast Guard Base and comprises the full re-roofing of all structures with solar powered and SmarterRoof products. The construction work is slated for completion during the  fall of 2011.

The founder and Chief Executive Officer at PetersenDean, Jim Petersen, exclaimed that his company has the expertise and financial power to commence such a huge project.

The Construction Manager of Federal Government Contracts at Schneider Electric, Bhaskar Patel stated that because of PetersenDean’s interest to work as partner, Schneider has chosen it for Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC) to deploy Solar PV Systems and Cool Roofs at the US Coast Guard Project in Puerto Rico. PetersenDean has the capabilities and experience to finish this fast track intricate project safely on time and within standards, he added.
