United Renewable Energy Installs Solar Power System at Marglen Industries Facility

United Renewable Energy, a ready-to-use solar installation firm located in Alpharetta, Georgia, has installed a 95.2-kW solar power photovoltaic power system on the rooftop of Marglen Industries' plastic bottle recycling facility located in Rome, Georgia.

The company utilized 476 Solyndra's innovative cylindrical CIGS thin-film solar modules for the rooftop solar array.

Solyndra's thin-film solar modules are produced in the US. The solar modules capture sunlight throughout a 360° photovoltaic surface to convert direct sunlight and light reflected off roof surfaces in to electricity. The system will produce power equivalent to the power consumption of 10 average American homes .

American enterprises are decreasing energy consumption and reducing utility bill costs by producing clean green energy at their commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities. Lucrative incentives such as Federal grants, state tax credits, utility company rebates and tariffs help the companies to reduce their payback period to below five years.
