Bridgestone Plans to Construct New Factory for Producing EVA Foils

Bridgestone Diversified Products Poland, a Japanese firm, has stated that it would construct a new production facility in Zary. The new factory would manufacture Solar Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) foils, which are used in the solar panel production processes.

The company is to invest an amount of zl.130 million and provide working stations for 67 new staff by the end of 2013.

EVA foils, which are produced by Bridgestone, are at present being manufactured in the Seki and the Iwata Plant, which are located in Japan. The new Zary Plant would be one of the Bridgestone’s three assets and would specialize in foil production. It is most likely to be the leading supplier of EVA foils in the European market. Bridgestone Diversified Products Poland is a subsidiary company of Bridgestone Corporation and has its headquarters in Japan.
