SunWater Solar, a solar thermal integrating company that designs and installs commercial solar thermal systems, declared that it has completed the installation of a solar water-heating system at a building of the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, located on Park Street in Alameda, California.
The solar water heating system formulated and constructed by SunWater Solar incorporates the Heliodyne Gobi 410 collectors. The included Heliodyne Delta T Pro monitoring mechanism provides details on the system performance through an online access. The installed system will supply nearly 70% of the hot water requirement of the building that comprises 65 housing units.
California Solar Initiative-Thermal (CSI-Thermal) has recently approved a rebate of $42,785 for the solar thermal installation, which in turn will help to meet a part of the total system cost of $139,000. SunWater Solar through its solar thermal installations has been regularly contributing to the development of the CSI-Thermal program and distributed around $237,000 in the form of CSI-Thermal rebates for the benefit of its clients.
