JinkoSolar Commences Commercial Manufacture of Quantum Series Modules

JinkoSolar, a vertically integrated solar products producing company in China, declared that it has achieved commercial level manufacture of its Q-1 Solar Modules produced under its Quantum Series.

The Q-1 solar modules are manufactured by utilizing a pseudo type of multi-crystalline cells, which aggregates the benefits offered by multi-crystalline and mono crystalline cells for the perfect alignment of crystalline structure and to attain an increased level of solar power production efficiency while continuing to keep the production costs at a lower level. The cells deployed in various usages are found to have a higher efficiency level of 18.3%.

The vertically integrated production process developed by the company allows it to enforce total process control from the manufacture of silicon ingots to wafers and to solar cells and solar modules. The various quality control procedures deployed by the company during manufacturing enables the company to continue with its quality control practices while ensuring peak performance and long-lasting efficiency of its solar modules and cells. The unique barcode feature included in the modules enables JinkoSolar to trace back the production process of a module from the ingot level and assists it to continually supervise and verify the output data during the life time of a solar array.
