Solar Power Generation (SPG) USA unveils the Solar Industry’s business focus for 2012 at the conference where large scale solar power generation techniques in the USA were discussed.
SPG had also announced the line-up of the leading speakers in the industry who will be sharing their expertise on important topics in the solar industry. The conference will also focus on establishing communication network amongst the attendees.
The SPG conference has been named as the ‘Best American Conference’ by the Conference Awards. More than 60 subject matter experts are expected to participate in the conference who will be talking on topics such as Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV), Photovoltaics (PV) and Operation and Maintenance. The participants also include senior level leaders involved with project development and finance, policy utilities and grid connection. The conference will begin on January 31 and go on till February 2, it will be held at Las Vegas. The managing director of Green Power Conference and Solar Power Generation USA, explained that the topics for discussion at the conference has been chosen based on the opinions expressed by the past attendees. A new concept that has been added in the 2012 event is the addition of an agenda that has been dedicated to structured industry networking on the third day. The key stakeholders will meet face to face through a round table and discuss topics relating to federal lands for securing financial investments and closing of utility-scale power purchase. Some of the key companies that will be addressing various topics at the conference are Iberdrola Renewables, Recurrent Energy, SOLON, Torresol, NV Energy and UniSource Energy.
