Solar Energy Breakout Business Model from Onyx Recognised by UPI

The breakout business model on solar energy from Onyx has received further recognition from United Press International (UPI).

The press release stated that Onyx will be installing the latest solar energy project, which includes solar panels manufactured at China as well as related equipment at the West Bay project in HONDURAS in Latin America.

The installation of these solar panels will be done by Onyx Management with help from the local Honduran people. This project will cater to the electrical supply expansion needs in the Honduras. After the 2009 coup Honduras has been facing economic, political and diplomatic isolation from which it is recovering slowly. The West Bay Lodge project deal was signed in October in order to provide solar powered electricity to the resort. This initiative was part of the government’s plan to promote tourism and regenerate the economy. West Bay Beach is one of the most popular of the tourist locations in Roatan Island. Onyx has decided to take a different course in the execution of the project, by ignoring the competition against coal-fired electricity producers or on government provided subsidies. Apart from the West Bay project, Onyx is working on other solar projects in the Honduras and Panama.
